History:
2000: Grant Pettrie started to gather runners to train as well as to race together when he was working in Korea in early 2000. He led the running group and volunteered to organize a training schedule and a race. He was also highly encouraging all type of runners and loved to share a wonderful part of life, running. Kelly, Edward and some other runners were running with him then. Grant did a great job with the running group for four years until he got back to his homeland USA in May 2004. I joined them in 2001.
2004: Jason
Perdew joined us in 2002. He volunteered to take Grant¡¯s job since he
left. Jason was a sprinter in high school and is knowledgeable in running.
He was delightfully sharing it with us and enjoyed running in Korea
until May 2005.
2005: Myself (JongBin) also volunteered to take care of the
running group after Jason left. SmileRun is opened to all who love running.
We do not charge any money but share what we earned from others and
our experiences. SmileRun is officially established to share running
with others in 2005.
