SmileRun was found to share RUNNING with all levels of runners in 2005; providing training schedule, race calendar, and registration help.

SmieRun normally has a training run at 17:30 p.m. on Thursday; easy, mid-level, hill or speed training.   We do two or three hour LSD or participate to a race on weekend.  Go to Our Schedule for details.

Major target marathons would be Seoul International marathon (DongA marathon) in March (normally third Sunday) and Chunchon marathon in October (normally third Sunday) or JoongAng marathon in November (normally first Sunday).

Before 2005:  Grant Pettrie gathered runners to train together in 2000 when he worked in Korea.  He coordinated a training schedule and led the group.  He and other runners shared their knowledge and running experience each other.  He got back to his home land in 2004.

Donation for disabled people:  JB has been donating some new things and used things, mainly cloths and shoes, for a facility of mentally or physically disabled people for several years.  There are 22 men and 9 women in the facility as of June 2010.  JB will be happy to have a donation for them.  They normally need many basic items for living but you don't have to buy a new product.  If you want to donate anything for them through JB, please contact him.  If you donate an used item, please clean or wash it before giving away.  They also have a web site in Korean; www.gh365com/jk.
